sB2843 - IDU with Ethernet Interface and 48V/32W Power Adapter
The IDU units with Ethernet Interface from smartBridges support the installation of the radios up to 100 meters away on the tower and roof tops. Normally the IDU are placed indoors in the networking closet along with other equipment.
These IDU are integrated with an AC power Adapter and inject power over the Ethernet cable for ease of installation. The AC power adapter is rugged to accomodate wide fluctuations in the rural power conditions. The Ethernet RJ45 ports are shielded and protected with integrated Surge Suppression Circuit.
The IDUs feature a "remote reset" switch, enabling the user to reset the outdoor radio from 100 meters away. This convenient feature eliminates the need for a cumbersome climb to the roof or tower to reset the radio.
